 esday\, February 9\, 2010 in Stude Concert Hall on the campus of Rice Univ
 ersity. The piano trio composed of violinist Maria Bachmann\, cellist Alex
 is Pai Gerlach and pianist Jon Klibonoff\, has earned a national reputatio
 n for its passionate\, committed and bold performances. This will definite
 ly be the evening for musical adventure with the Brahms Trio No. 2 \, Rach
 maninoff Trio No. 1 and works by Turina and Piazzolla.\nTrio Solisti has m
 ade critically acclaimed debuts in New York City at Lincoln Center\, the K
 ennedy Center in Washington D.C.\, and internationally in Canada\, London\
 , Cortona\, Italy and Paris. The Trio share their expertise with master cl
 asses and audiences at numerous festivals across the United States\; and t
 hey are the founding ensemble of the Telluride MusicFest\, which celebrate
 d its sixth anniversary in 2008.\nThe members of the group record both as 
 an ensemble and individually. Their newest ensemble CD\, Caf&eacute\; Musi
 c was released in 2008 to rave reviews. It includes composers such as Piaz
 zolla\, Schoenfield\, Turina\, and Gershwin. Previous recordings include a
 n all-Brahms CD and Trio Solisti Explores Beethoven.\nTrio Solisti has app
 eared on the nationally broadcast radio show &ldquo\;St. Paul Sunday&rdquo
 \; and has been featured on NPR's &ldquo\;Performance Today&rdquo\; in num
 erous live performances across the United States since their inception in
