 ow offering two summer dance camps for youth ages 8-11 and 12-17!  Dance H
 ouston's Shooting Stars and Young & Intense Summer Dance Camps!\nThese exc
 iting camps for kids offer training and performance opportunities in moder
 n\, jazz\, ballet\, hip hop\, social\, and cultural dance. Our mission is 
 to foster self-esteem and self-expression while improving dance technique.
  These camps are designed to help our students grow to love dance as a hea
 lthy\, creative\, and fun activity\, while planting the seeds for discipli
 ne and growth.\nDancers take three to four dance classes a day from our ex
 perienced staff of teachers and choreographers. Activity periods offer enr
 iching activities like terminology classes\, videos\, and yoga. During a d
 aily practice session\, students receive individual attention from our cou
 nselors plus the opportunity to work closely within a dedicated community 
 of dancers. Their hard work builds into an entertaining showcase at the en
 d of each camp!\nOur Shooting Stars camp for ages 8-11 takes place July 20
 - 31\, 2009\, Monday through Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm with a final performanc
 e on Friday\, July 31\, at 7:00pm. The two week camp will take place at Ba
 rnevelder Movement Arts Complex downtown and the cost is $450 for early re
 gistration.\nThe second camp we are offering is Young & Intense for ages 1
 2-17 and takes place from August 3-21\, 2009\, Monday through Friday 8:00a
 m- 5:00pm. The camp will take place at the Wortham Center and early regist
