 mmunity\, honoring Phoebe and Bobby Tudor for their many contributions to 
 Houston's cultural life. at the Hilton Americas Hotel\, 1600 Lamar. The ev
 ening will include dinner\, a silent auction\, and dancing to the music of
  Fried Ice Cream. Saturday\, November 14.\nPhoebe and Bobby Tudor have cha
 ired many fundraising events for a variety of non-profits organizations an
 d have given generously to Houston's cultural life. A substantial gift to 
 Rice University helped fund the rehabilitation of Autry Court\, now Tudor 
 Fieldhouse. The refurbished facility benefits not only the basketball play
 ers but provides a much better experience for the fans as well. Bobby is c
 o-chair of Rice's Centennial Campaign which has a $1 billion fundraising s
 trategy to launch Rice into its second century. The campaign has reached m
 ore than half its goal and will provide funds for new buildings and improv
 ed campus facilities. Phoebe Tudor holds a Masters degree in historic pres
 ervation from Columbia University and is chair of the Julia Ideson Library
  Preservation Partners. She is leading the challenge to raise $38 million 
 to expand and restore the historic building.\nHeading up the event are Gal
 a Chairs Mikki Hebl\, an associate professor of psychology at Rice Univers
 ity and her husband\, David Harvey\, Jr.\, president of D. E. Harvey Build
 ers\; Underwriting Chair David Andrews\, PGAL\; Auction Chairs Shelby Holm
 an and Kim Kaase\, The OFIS\; and Environment Chairs Bob Inaba and Randall
  Walker\, Kirksey.\nCome join 1\,000 architects\, design professionals\, e
