  time by making corn husk dolls\, bonnets\, lye soap\, beeswax candles\, a
 nd much more. See how the early inhabitants of Texas made and used their t
 ools and weapons. A skirmish provides a living-history look at the authent
 ic weaponry\, costumes\, and significance of Civil War battles. Volunteers
  and staff show visitors how early settlers built and protected their home
 steads. You might even get to taste some authentic pioneer cooking\n!Take 
 a 'living history' look at the Texas settler and &ldquo\;Native American&r
 dquo\; lifestyles! Witness a skirmish for Texas independence\, along with 
 woodworking\, blacksmithing\, cooking and many other demonstrations. Folk 
 music is featured and hayrides are provided.\nFun for the whole family. Al
