From September through May, 12 renowned authors will come to Houston, many for the first time, sharing their work and insights.=0D=0A=Since the readings series began, Inprint has hosted more than 300 of the world's great writers, including winners of 4 Nobel Prizes, 44 Pulitzer Prizes, and 43 National Book Awards. O'Neill, born in Ireland and raised in Mozambique, South Africa, Iran, Turkey, and Holland, writes regularly for The Atlantic.=0D=0A=MARILYNNE ROBINSON received the 2009 Orange Prize (recognizing the best novel in English by a woman) for her third novel, Home, which Publishers Weekly calls '...an elegant variation on the parable of the prodigal son.' The novel, also a finalist for the National Book Award, is a companion piece to Gilead, which won both the 2005 Pulitzer Prize and the 2004 National Book Critics Circle Award.=0D=0A='Robinson's words have a spiritual force that's very rare in contemporary fiction,' says James Wood in The New York Times Book Review.
