    HCC Central Art - Call for Gallery Proposals

    HCC Central Art Department accepts proposals for group or solo exhibitions in the Fine Arts Center Gallery space on an ongoing basis.

    Proposals will be reviewed at the end of the spring semester for the following academic calendar.

    The gallery schedule is built around the faculty and student exhibits required by the college's curriculum guidelines and then other exhibits are added. With these latter, preference is given to Texans, especially Houston artists.

    The proposal review committee's goal in selecting exhibits includes presenting a cross section of media, content, cultures, and diversity over the year. Exhibitions which offer opportunities for classroom assignments in a broad range of disciplines are especially appropriate.
