University of Houston – Clear Lake presents Bumper Jacksons, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at University of Houston Clear Lake’s Bayou Theater.

Hailing from Washington, DC, the six members of Bumper Jacksons combine Appalachian folk, New Orleans jazz, and Texas swing to create powerful music.  Unafraid to create new sounds from old styles, the Bumper Jacksons boldly paying homage to treasured American music traditions while using their own unique, DIY flavor.

Bursting at the seams with some of the richest threads of vintage Americana, Bumper Jacksons create a party where everyone’s invited, and the dance floor never sleeps.
