    Houston Museum of Natural Science Burke Baker Planetarium presents Night of the Titanic.

    What sunk the ship? What was it was like to stand on the deck of the doomed ocean liner Titanic the night she sank?  The sinking of the Titanic in 1912 was part human error and part natural disaster. Weather, ice, sun, moon and stars all played a part in this horrific tragedy.

    Houston Museum of Natural Science Burke Baker Planetarium presents Night of the Titanic.

    What sunk the ship? What was it was like to stand on the deck of the doomed ocean liner Titanic the night she sank?  The sinking of the Titanic in 1912 was part human error and part natural disaster. Weather, ice, sun, moon and stars all played a part in this horrific tragedy.

    Witness the catastrophe in full-dome and discover how this complex series of natural, but unlikely, events sank the "unsinkable" ship. A 25-minute multi-media planetarium program that combines "fully immersive" computer animation with the latest scientific research, is allows viewers to experience what it was like to stand on the deck of the doomed ocean liner Titanic the night she sank.

    Night of the Titanic shows the unique conditions of Earth and space that coupled with human error contributed to the sinking of the ship on April 15, 1912.
