Society for the Performing Arts presents Batsheva Dance Company's Deca Dance at the Jones Hall for the Performing Arts.

Founded in 1964 by Martha Graham and Baroness Batsheva De Rothschild, Batsheva Dance Company entered a new era in 1990 with the appointment of internationally acclaimed choreographer Ohad Naharin as artistic director.

Now Batsheva makes its Houston debut with Naharin’s Deca Dance, a reconstruction of existing works exposing the most provocative, bombastic elements of his choreographic genius.

With this new puzzle from his material, Naharin reshuffles the dance, bringing a fresh perspective to 10 years of creative output.
