The Progressive Forum Houston presents Larry Wilmore, The Daily Show “Senior Black Correspondent,†Wednesday, February 25 at 7:30, at the Wortham Center, Cullen Theater.
Celebrate Black History Month with Larry Wilmore, “Senior Black Correspondent†on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Wilmore provides an honest conversation about race and diversity in America with his own comic perspective.
He’s one of the top stand-up comedians in America and HBO is developing a sitcom for him. He’s also a celebrated television producer and writer, and has won an Emmy, Peabody, and NAACP Image Award.
At our event, he’s releasing his first book entitled I’d Rather We Got Casinos and Other Black Thoughts.
Program starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Wortham Center, Cullen Theater, 501 Texas Avenue.
Book signing after the program in the grand foyer. Books will be on sale throughout the evening by Brazos Bookstore.
All seats are in prime orchestra level, no balcony seats.

NOTE: A limited number of patron seats at $74 includes private patron reception with speaker, a complimentary autographed book, commemorative bookplate, and center-front seating.
Discounts of 10% are available at all price levels except patron for students; educators including teachers and administrators at all levels; seniors 65 and older; and groups of 10 or more; valid ID required at the door.
Tickets are available at the door on event night.
