Lifelong performer Don Sanders achieved recognition as a singer, songwriter, and recording artist during the 70s and 80s. He subsequently worked as an actor, translated plays, and created one-man performance pieces.

He currently performs his story/song shows in schools, theaters, and festivals throughout the Southwest.

Don's programs include: Sing & Move (interactive songs & rhymes for younger students); Cuentos y Canciones (Latin American folktale & folksong, nilingual); Siempre Listo, Ever Clever (more Latin American lore, bilingual); Lost Years of Pecos Bill (tall tales, Bill’s childhood); Gusher Times (stories & songs of the petroleum industry); Sourdough Cowboy (authentic stories & songs of the cowboys); and Sawmill Towns (stories & songs of the timber industry).
