    The Houston Film Society brings you a remarkable opportunity to see more than 50 film premieres each festival season, to be a part of the challenge and excitement of film and television, and to enjoy the discoveries of one of the world's great international film events, plus free previews and sneak-previews all year long.

    The Houston Film Society brings you a remarkable opportunity to see more than 50 film premieres each festival season, to be a part of the challenge and excitement of film and television, and to enjoy the discoveries of one of the world's great international film events, plus free previews and sneak-previews all year long.

    The Film Society has monthly screenings of new major studio, International and Indie films all year long.

    Members usually receive passes to two or more films a month, and the screenings are of new films before they are open to the general public.

    The Houston Film Society sponsors the Student Film Award and offers special scholarships to the festival and the production seminars to outstanding Houston High School & college students.

    HFS is the largest film society in Texas with more than 800 members.

    Admission Info:

    There are several membership levels:

    $50 for one year as a regular member, gets a pass for two people to all film society screenings ($40 for Seniors and Students),

    $100 is a Sponsor Membership that gets 2 passes for 4 people,

    $500 Bronze, $1000 Silver and $5000 Gold memberships - all with added benefits.

    All membership levels receive email invites also, which are for two or more people, kind of an "invite all your pals" pass ..

    Donations to the Houston Film Society are fully tax-deductible, and Award or Film Evening sponsorships are available.
