On February 6, the Society for the Performing Arts invites you and your family to Cherryholmes, performing at the Wortham Center's Cullen Theater.

It’s all in the family with this Grammy-nominated mom/dad/four siblings bluegrass band whose star rose to worldwide fame in six short years. The family started playing music together in 1999, and by 2005, they were named “Entertainer of the Year” at the International Bluegrass Music Awards.

Now the hottest new bluegrass act showcases its incredible harmonizing and playing of the upright bass, mandolin, clawhammer banjo, fiddle and guitar (plus Irish step dancing and classic country yodeling!) in tunes ranging from hard-hitting bluegrass gospel to old-time mountain and country music.

This special event is a part of the Family Fun Series.

Additional features include Arts Talk! sponsored by Invesco Aim (6:30pm, Cullen Theater Alcove) and an H-E-B Performance Prelude by North Harris County Dulcimer Society (7:00p, Wortham Center's Grand Foyer).
