    The Society for the Performing Arts is proud to present The Salzburg Chamber Soloists, March 14 at the Cullen Theater at the Wortham Theater Center.

    Straight from the musical heart of Austria comes this ensemble of first rate international young musicians who perform orchestral chamber music with the freedom of soloists. Under the direction of violinist Lavard Skou-Larson, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists will perform a spirited program of works including Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in E-flat Major for violin, viola and orchestra; Villa-Lobos’s Bacchiana Brasileira, No. 9; and Haydn’s Symphony No. 49, La Passione.

    This special event is a part of the CenterPoint Energy Music Series.

    Additional features include Arts Talk! sponsored by Invesco Aim (7:00pm, Cullen Theatre Alcove) and an H-E-B Performance Prelude by Duo Scordatura (7:30p, Grand Foyer, Wortham Center).
