The Aurora Picture Show invites you to SPECIAL EVENT: Pancake Supper and Films Al Fresco, Saturday, February 7, 5-8pm, (screening at 6:30pm). Location: Outdoors at the site of Mirabeau B: 2410 Waugh Dr. at the corner of Hyde Park Blvd.

Aurora presents a night celebrating green building and community building, consummated with pancakes and maple syrup. The evening will include tall stacks of warm pancakes, and short stacks of short films about sustainability, on the lot of Houston’s first LEED certified luxury apartment building Mirabeau B.

Titles include the short documentary Tapping Maple Ridge, a meditation on the unexpected parallels between wind energy and maple syrup production.
