The Aurora Picture Show invites you to Casseroles and Cocktails:  A 1950s Themed Aurora House Party, Saturday, March 7, 7-10pm.  Location: Private Home.

The second installment of Aurora’s popular House Party series is back. A special 1950s themed event, the evening will include short films and commercials from the 50s, period cocktails and hors-d’oeuvres, and a state-of-the-art hula-hoop performance in an 1950s ranch-style home.

ABOUT CINEMA BOMAR CinemaBomar puts on on showings of 16mm industrial, educational and ephemeral films from our personal collection. Although venues sometimes solicit donations, Cinema Bomar is entirely self-funded and all shows are free. Their mission is to give people the experience of seeing these films, most of which were never intended to survive to the present, in their original format with all the damage that time has wrought.

Cinema Bomar hosts monthly showings at Domy Books / Brasil on the third Tuesday of every month, plus irregular shows at other locations.
