    The CLUI (Center for Land Use Interpretation) and Buffalo Bayou Partnership will host the Downstream: A Center for Land Use Interpretation Tour of Houston’s Water and Oil  boat tour from downtown Houston to the San Jacinto Monument.     The CLUI (Center for Land Use Interpretation) and Buffalo Bayou Partnership will host the Downstream: A Center for Land Use Interpretation Tour of Houston’s Water and Oil  boat tour from downtown Houston to the San Jacinto Monument. In the tradition of the CLUI’s land-based tours, the Downstream: A Center for Land Use Interpretation Tour of Houston’s Water and Oil boat tour will be custom-designed and include pre-arranged encounters within the larger urban and industrial environments that surround the bayou.

    Schedule of Tours:

    Saturday, February 28, 10am-noon (beginning at Allen’s Landing) This will be a CLUI guided tour 18 person capacity

    Sunday, March 1,  10am-noon (same route as listed above) This will be a CLUI guided tour 18 person capacity

    Saturday, March 21, Downstream: A Center for Land Use Interpretation Tour of Houston’s Water and Oil boat tour with a chartered boat  9am-6pm (leaving from Allen’s Landing and ending at San Jacinto Memorial – includes lunch and a bus shuttle back to Allen’s Landing) This will be a tour led by Matt Coolidge with CLUI 50 person capacity

    Sunday, March 29, (this tour is in conjunction with the Mitchell Center Symposium) Noon-2 tentative times (same route as Feb. 28 and March 1) This will be a CLUI guided tour

    Saturday, February 28, $25 per person

    Sunday, March 1, $25 per person

    Saturday, March 21, Downstream: A Center for Land Use Interpretation Tour of Houston’s Water and Oil boat tour  with a chartered boat $75 per person – includes lunch and a bus shuttle back to Allen’s Landing

    Sunday, March 29, $25 per person
