    The Houston Symphony will offer Brown Bags and Baroque, a free lunchtime performance of chamber music, on Tuesday, March 10, 2009. During this open to the public performance, guests are invited to bring their own lunch or purchase a brown bag lunch at Jones Hall. Seating will be available in the lobby as well as outside on the patio in front of the building.

    The Houston Symphony will offer Brown Bags and Baroque, a free lunchtime performance of chamber music, on Tuesday, March 10, 2009. During this open to the public performance, guests are invited to bring their own lunch or purchase a brown bag lunch at Jones Hall. Seating will be available in the lobby as well as outside on the patio in front of the building.

    The Brown Bags and Baroque lunchtime concert will be the public kickoff of Houston Symphony’s Bach vs. Vivaldi Experience, a two-day music extravaganza featuring classical programming from two celebrated Baroque composers, Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi. The Experience will take place on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Houston Baptist University’s new Joella and Stewart Morris Cultural Arts Center.

    These events are made possible through the generous support of The Houston Symphony’s community partners GDF SUEZ Energy and KUHF 88.7 Houston Public Radio.
