Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, presents, Summer Sampler of Dance, Friday, June 12 at 8:30 p.m. at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park.

This dynamic evening includes the world premiere of Elevated by renowned choreographer Salim Gauwloos. And a program of audience favorites: Zoom by Pattie Obey; Jolt by Keisha Lalama-White; Chambre Noire by Nina Buisson; Stirring Simple Gifts in Shades of Blue by Caleb Mitchell; an excerpt of Not Yet Soaring (still confronting the ground) by jhon r. stronks; and for Houston Met Too, Release by Marlana Walsh Doyle.

Arrive early for the best seats and to enjoy the dance documentary “Faces of Houston” by Ben Doyle prior to the performance.

Tickets to Seated Area
While performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre are FREE of charge, some require tickets for the covered seating area. Tickets are available at the Miller Theatre Box Office on a first-come basis between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on the day of the performance. Please, only four (4) tickets per person. Remaining tickets are given out one hour before curtain.

Hillside Area
No tickets are required for seating on the hillside. Blankets and lawnchairs are welcome. No glass containers of any kind are allowed.
