Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens is again hosting Spring Twilight Tours.

Each Thursday in March, the historic home and grounds will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. to allow visitors a chance to see the gardens in the early evening light, enjoy a stroll through the house with an optional audio tour, and relax with light refreshments afterward.

Reservations are not required.

Bayou Bend, located at 1 Westcott Street, is the former residence of the late Houston philanthropist and collector Miss Ima Hogg. One of the nation’s premier holdings of American art and antiques, the collection comprises more than 5,000 works, including furniture, paintings, metals, ceramics, glass, and textiles.

The collection is displayed in more than 20 room settings that trace the evolution of style in America from the colonial period to the mid-19th century.
