    Southern-bred but Brooklyn-based Matt Houck brings gravelly vocals and a world-weary but a hopeful heart to his indie/folk outfit Phosphorescent. Hailed by musical taste-makers such as Pitchfork Media and Stylus magazine, Houck swings through town fresh from SXSW backed by a four-piece touring band.
