    Target Literacy Program: Reading through the Arts - César Chávez, Sí se Puede!

    Talento Bilingue de Houston presents Target Literacy Program: Reading through the Arts.

    Enjoy visual arts, dance, music, theatre and cooking while sharing among your family a time to read and write. Houston Artists facilitate parent and children workshops to create, read, write and listen to each other.

    The workshops are FREE of cost.

    Talento Bilingue de Houston presents Target Literacy Program: Reading through the Arts.

    Enjoy visual arts, dance, music, theatre and cooking while sharing among your family a time to read and write. Houston Artists facilitate parent and children workshops to create, read, write and listen to each other.

    The workshops are FREE of cost.

    Our topic for this workshop will be César Chávez, Sí se Puede! Expressing movements through dance and writing.  Come and enjoy an afternoon of writing and contemporary dance with Marcia, Jesus and Sandra Organ Dance Company (SODC). SODC will teach us expression in movement.

    First families to arrive will receive free tickets to watch Sí se puede! performed by SODC.

    The workshops are FREE and the number of families is limited. All workshops are from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm To register for these workshops, please contact Leslie Gauna, Literacy Coordinator at literacy@tbhcenter.org .
     


    Times:

    Pre-registration will begin at 2:00pm.
    Activities will run from 2:30pm to 5:00pm.

    After turning on to Franklin
    Follow Franklin to the LEFT under the Rail Road bridge, where the road becomes Jensen.
    After 2 lights (Canal & Navigation) you will see a Pink Park.
    Turn Left into the Parking lot after the park
