Take a visual journey through Sculptural Glass at Betz Gallery on Saturday, April 4th.

As April ushers in the spring art season, Betz Art Gallery, located at 1208 W. Gray in the Montrose section of Houston,  is the place to be when mother-daughter team, Lori Betz and Diane Tyson invites art enthusiasts to take a visual journey through "Sculptural Glass."

Artist, Lori Betz is the owner of Betz Art Gallery and the Founder of The “ Artist Gallery League” and has been doing Welded Sculptures for over 15 years. From large figurative outdoor art to smaller dancing figures. Classically trained painterand sculpture, she has studied with Master Artists in Greece, Italy, Japan, and here in the United States.

The exhibition, which opens with a public reception on Saturday, April 4th, from 5-8 p.m., and continues through April 30, includes a variety of Sculptures made from glass and Welded Architectural Parts . Beginning at 6 p.m. at the reception there will be live demonstrations by many of the gallery artists.

The "Sculptural Glass" exhibition at Betz Gallery is part of the Artist Gallery League's monthly series of openings on the first Saturday of each month. Art enthusiasts can visit five art galleries in the heart of Houston in a single evening and enjoy a night of live jazz music by, and free refreshments.
