Enjoy a magical ride along with Charlie and his Grandpa through Wonka's Chocolate Factory in  Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, this delightful performance starring children from all over our community who participate in the JCC's Children's Theater program.

Krysti Wilson is the Director of the JCCS's Winter/Spring Performance of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Krysti has been involved with theatre and the performing arts for over 20 years.  Her training credits include Houston Grand Opera, College of the Mainland, Houston Ballet, Pastorini Bosby Talent Agency and HITS Theatre. As a professional actor, she has performed with Main Street Theatre, Main Street Youth Theatre, Theatre LaB Houston, and Bayou City Concert Musicals.

With her real passion being directing and choreographing, Krysti has worked with Welch Middle School, Emory Weiner Middle School, Bellaire High School, Royal Academy of Fine Arts, St. Edwards University, and the Houston Ballet Academy. Over the past year, Krysti has been the Artistic Director of HITS Theatre, specializing in teaching theatre arts to children. While at HITS, she directed and choreographed Once on This Island, Les Miserables, A Year With Frog and Toad, Seussical, The Wiz, Willy Wonka, and Urinetown. In addition, Krysti has directed two major musical productions for HITS at Miller Outdoor theatre, Cinderella (2007) and Peter Pan (2008).

We are excited to have Krysti directing for the JCCS.
