The Jewish Community Center of Houston presents Dialogues: Jewish Conversations at the JCC, Sunday, April 19, in the Kaplan Theatre at the JCC.

Featuring the topic The Middle East Right Now: A Conversation with Former Israeli Deputy National Security Advisor Dr. Chuck Freilich.

Now a Senior Fellow at the Belfer Center at Harvard's Kennedy School where he is writing a book on Israeli national security decision-making, Dr. Chuck Freilich is a former Israeli Deputy National Security Advisor and has appeared as a commentator for CNN, been quoted in the New York Times, and appeared on various U.S. and Israeli radio and television stations.

Born in New York, he emigrated to Israel in his teens and served in the Israel Defense Forces for five years. He is joining us in Houston as Israel concludes its 60th year as a Jewish state and will offer his thoughts on the current challenges that the Middle East will carry into Israel's 61st year.
