    The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents an Interactive Gallery Program: Simon Bolivar Quartet from the Venezuelan National Youth Symphony Orchestra , Apr 4, 2009 11:00 AM at the Audrey Jones Beck Building, Gallery 214, 2nd Floor.

    In this lively interactive program at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the trumpet musicians from the Simon Bolivar Quartet will introduce their instruments and will perform a few selections from their repertoire.  All ages welcome. A limited number of campstools will be available in the gallery.

    The musicians of the Simon Bolivar Quartet are also members of the Venezuelan Youth Orchestras, a network of 120 youth orchestras and 60 childrens´ orchestras formed in 1975. Now in the 21st century, the orchestras are a social and educational movement in which 15,000 teachers and 600,000 students participate.

    The project made its international debut in 1995 when the Venezuelan National Youth Symphony Orchestra performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

    Museum Parking Garage
    Located directly east of the Beck and Law buildings, the MFAH Visitors Center features a four-story covered parking garage.

    The easy-to-find parking entrance is on Binz, marked by a large, yellow arrow.

    You're always protected from the elements when you park your car in the Museum Garage. From there, you can go to the Visitors Center lobby and find a ticketing desk and up-to-the minute museum information.

    As an added convenience, you can enter the Beck and Law buildings from the Visitors Center through security-monitored, climate-controlled tunnels connecting all three buildings.
