Celebrate the summer with Kemah Boardwalk’s Rock the Dock. This music lover’s favorite returns in May and continues each Thursday evening through August.  Concerts are held on the Plaza and begin at 6:30 p.m. each week.

The ninth annual summer-long music festival provides visitors with a variety of musical entertainment from local and regional bands. Rock the Dock features great Texas sounds including R&B, pop, Rock & Roll and blues.

“We’re excited to bring the best in local entertainment to the boardwalk all summer long through the Rock the Dock music series,” said Brett Kellerman, senior vice president of Landry’s Specialty Division. “It really is a great way to relax before the weekend.”

To visit Kemah boardwalk, take I-45 South to NASA Road 1 exit. Continue down NASA Road 1 to Highway 146 and turn right. Go over the bridge and turn left at the first light, which is Sixth Street. Turn left at the first stop sign, which is Bradford Ave. Go to the end of the street and follow signs to Kemah Boardwalk.
