AIA Houston presents the exhibition Dan Havel and Dean Ruck: Architectural Euthanasia, on view April 9 - May 8, 2009.

Architectural Euthanasia consists of "large scale photos depicting images of the seven Havel Ruck Projects that have been completed during the past 13 years. Rarely seen models of O House and Inversion (detail, pictured) will be featured, as well as video documentation of O House, Inversion, and Apartment Suite.

Also included will be study drawings by Dan Havel for the most recent Havel Ruck Project, Give and Take, which will be featured in the exhibition No Zoning at the Contemporary Art Museum Houston in May 2009.

The exhibit will also feature the Houston premiere of the project Trespass 5319. The work consists of eight pie shaped wall sections, 6’ long and 3 ’wide, that were cut out and removed from an abandoned house in the Houston museum district."
