The 2009 Immanuel and Helen Olschan Texas Music Festival celebrates its 20th season with a stellar lineup of chamber music and orchestral offerings.

The Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival was founded in 1990 to provide young professional musicians a stimulating environment in which to develop their performance skills. The international body of participants works intensively for four weeks under the guidance of renowned conductors and TMF's distinguised artist/faculty.

Floot Fire is designed to educate and inspire flutists through a diverse curriculum that covers many aspects of flute performance. Floot Fire combines an informal, comfortable, and supportive atmosphere with teaching, performance, and artistic standards of the highest caliber. Students of all levels of proficiency are eligible to participate.

Faculty recitals take place daily at 1:30. The Grand Finale concert featuring all Floot Fire participants takes place on Friday evening. All concerts are free and open to the public.  The Grand Finale concert is the culmination of this Floot Fire 5-day program, featuring all flootabulous Floot Fire participants.
