LITERATURE + LECTURES

Brazos Bookstore is pleased to present two alumni of the UH Creative Writing Program for an evening of poetry featuring Peter Hyland & Darin Ciccotelli.

Darin Ciccotelli has recently published poems in Colorado Review and Denver Quarterly, among others. He has received a James A. Michener Fellowship, an Inprint/C. Glen Cambor Fellowship, an inaugural Houston Writing Fellowship, and several Pushcart Prize nominations. He currently teaches at the University of Houston.

Peter B. Hyland is the author of the chapbook Elegy to the Idea of a Child (The Trilobite Press, 2009). His poems have appeared in American Literary Review, Ecotone, and other journals. He holds an MFA from the University of Houston Creative Writing Program, where he received an Inprint Brown fellowship, as well as a Krakow Poetry Seminar fellowship. In July 2008, he joined the staff of Inprint, where he serves as development director.
