    Come raise a glass at Brazos Bookstore in tribute to bookman Fritz Lanham, (pictured), Thursday, May 7, 5:30-7:00 PM.

    In his sixteen years as the Book Editor at the Houston Chronicle, Fritz Lanham gave our city one of the country's best book sections. His weekly column informed Houstonians about events conducted by independent bookstores, the UH Creative Writing Program, and organizations such as Inprint, helping to create an active literary culture in the city.
