VISUAL ARTS + MUSEUMS
May 30 - June 20, 2009
Aerosol Warfare Gallery & Boutique presents the exhibition Street Tempted. On view May 30 through June 20.
Gabriel Prusmack is 21 years old going on 75 years old depending on the end. Gabriel started about 8 years ago doing graffiti, inspired mostly by the streets of L.A. writers such as Tiki-Jay One and CBS crew. But over the years he created his own style on his side of the streets in Galveston, Houston , Corpus Christi, Austin, and anywhere else in TEXAS that he could create homegrown Texan street art.
Most of his work revolves around wood and metal material found anywhere and everywhere. Gabriel's need to create art in the streets has made him a victim of the streets and the paint that he spilled along with it.
And special for the opening: 7 Artists 7 Car Hoods. Over the Art Car weekend Red Bull with help from The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art found seven street artists to paint seven car hoods. They were on display at Discovery Green and now you will have a chance to view (and purchase) them in our outside Gallery.
DJ Harborside will provide entertainment. Opening reception Saturday, May 30, 7pm - 11pm.
