    Join us for the Second Annual Houston Police Foundation Moonlight Classic Bike Ride! This two-hour recreational ride is for cyclists of ages and abilities, on a traffic-free course stretching 5 to 25 miles on Memorial Drive.

    The journey starts at the Downtown Aquarium. You'll head west on Memorial, returning east on Memorial back to the Downtown Aquarium. Enjoy music, snacks, and rides, including the Diving Bell Ferris...

    Join us for the Second Annual Houston Police Foundation Moonlight Classic Bike Ride! This two-hour recreational ride is for cyclists of ages and abilities, on a traffic-free course stretching 5 to 25 miles on Memorial Drive.

    The journey starts at the Downtown Aquarium. You'll head west on Memorial, returning east on Memorial back to the Downtown Aquarium. Enjoy music, snacks, and rides, including the Diving Bell Ferris Wheel, Carousel, and Shark Voyage (FREE to riders wearing their wristband) at the post-ride festival.

    8 p.m. Registration

    9 p.m. Children's Start
    Small children and slow riders will ride in right lane

    9:30 p.m. Adult Start
    Adults will ride in left lane

    COURSE & DISTANCE: 5-mile loop ride (as many loops as you can cover in 2 hours).

    T-shirts will be available to the first 2000 riders only.

    Tickets:


    REGISTRATION FEE:
    $25 per rider (pre register by June 8, 2009)
    $15 for children 12 and under
    $35 day of the event for everyone (After June 8, 2009)
    $15 per HPD Officer and immediate family

    PARKING: FREE parking at City Lot H (located on the northwest side of downtown. From Memorial Dr. inbound, exit Rusk, the parking lots will be on your  immediate right - next to Fonde Communicty Center.


    Times:

    Registration Begins: 8 p.m.
    Children's Ride: 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    Adult Ride Begins: 9:30 p.m.

    Course Closes Midnight.

    Valet and on-site paid parking ($6 for a full day).

    Additional parking is available at the Wortham Center, entrances 1,5,6,7 or 8.
