A Pulitzer Prize wiinner returns. Unity Theatre presents Talley's Folly by Lanford Wilson. Directed by Unity's co-founder Teresa Beckers, Talley's Folly will star resident artists Jim and Carolyn Johnson. A love poem for an apple and an orange.  July 2 – 19, 2009.

On a moonlit summer night in 1944, with the world at war, two people have a clandestined meeting along a quiet river in an abandoned boathouse known to the locals as “Talley’s Folly.” A charming romantic comedy, Unity Theatre’s first presentation 14 years ago, returns to tell of an unlikely love between a bookish accountant and a 31-year-old spinster. The audience is invited to watch as this fragile pair tip-toes toward love through a thicket of family disapproval and their own complicated pasts.
