    Learn more about the Terra Cotta Warriors – and the rich culture that produced them – through special events, lectures and learning experiences associated with the exhibition.  Saturday, September 19, 10am-2pm, the Houston Museum of Natural Science presents Army of Stone.

    The year is 1974. Just another day farming—until you accidentally unearth 8,000 life-like Terra Cotta Warriors… What was it like to build these life-sized warriors? How long did the process take? Learn some amazing facts about the warriors themselves as you take part in Round Two of our weekend Terra Cotta Warriors craft festival.

    Parking is available in our 6-story garage located on Caroline, just south of Hermann Drive. Parking is just $5 for museum patrons and $7 for all others. In addition, some curbside parking is available near the Museum entrance and in Hermann Park.
