Angelika Film Center and InOurSity Films present A Night In Our City, Thursday, July 9, 7pm-9pm.

The evening will include a viewing of InOurSity Shorts, InOurSity Q&A, a behind-the-scenes segment, a production slide show, and a raffle.  A portion of the evening's proceeds will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

InOurSity Films is a hot, up and coming Film Production Company right here in Houston. The InOurSity equation is easy; four friends, one passion. In 2007, Cesar Gochez, Christopher Hilliard, Norman Clopton, and William Madrid turned their love for movies into something more. InOurSity is about the team. No one person is above another. It is about teamwork and what is best for InOursity. All driven by different reasons, creating InOurSity Films was a shared goal and their way of turning their dreams of writing, directing, acting and producing into a reality. Between casting, filming, editing and everyday life, these 4 guys juggle an extremely busy schedule, but with their minds set on the big picture, they strive to achieve greatness.

The name came from a now silent partner, Reggie Hilliard. InOurSity was one of many names chosen and actually beat out the name the group had already selected for the company. With a twist on the spelling and a phrase made into one word, InOurSity Films was born.

InOurSity Films produces a wide variety of projects including series, commercials, and movies. They participate in every aspect of the company from producing, to acting to writing. The group also welcomes talent. They hold auditions to find new faces for current and future projects. They have several projects in the works including The Cryptic Chronicles, their internet series that premiered Wednesday, March 11th. In June of this year, they will be participating in a 48 hour film project and there is a horror film in the works that will begin production in June as well. They will also be working on a romantic comedy and season 2 of The Cryptic Chronicles set to come out in 2010.
