    Diaz Music Institute and Landry's present a free family event, the Second Annual Salsa on the Boardwalk!     Diaz Music Institute and Landry's present a free family event, the Second Annual Salsa on the Boardwalk! The Second Annual Salsa on the Boardwalk at Kemah Boardwalk is set for Saturday, August 1 from 5 until 11 p.m.  Performers will keep toes tapping and hips swinging with the sounds of Salsa and Latin Jazz. Visitors can enjoy free live music, dine at the Boardwalk’s restaurants and enjoy a variety of midway games and rides.

    The music lineup includes:
    5:15 p.m. Houston’s Youngest Latin Talent – Baby Caliente
    5:45 p.m. DJ Chino
    6:30 p.m. Special appearance – Edwin Rivera from El Cantante
    7:00 p.m. DJ Chino
    7:30 p.m. Houston’s own – reKreation Dance Co
    8:00 p.m. DJ Chino
    8:30 p.m. Houston’s Latin Ensemble – Caliente
    9-11 p.m. Salsero Paquito “Junior” Acosta
