    Celebrate India's 63rd Independence Day on Saturday, August 15 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. India Fest 2009:  Glory of India will include food, booths, performances, contests and an afternoon flag ceremony.  The India Culture Center (ICC), Houston in collaboration with the Consulate General Of India, Houston and Major Indo-American partner organizations presents this annual event.

    Cultural Program 11:30am-2pm
    Flag Honoring 2pm-3pm
    YLDP Graduation 3-3:30pm
    Little Miss & Master India, Texas U.S.A. Pageant 3:30pm-5:30pm
    Cultural & Dandiya 6pm-9pm

    An all day, fun filled event!

    Parking:

    The George R. Brown now offers even more parking space with a new parking garage located at the corner of Polk Street and Avenida de las Americas. Conveniently connected to the GRBCC and the Hilton by Level 2 skywalks, parking couldn’t be easier.

    In addition, there are several privately owned surface lots surrounding the convention center. All are just a short walk away or across the street.
