ROFLCon, The Caroline Collective, Schipul the Web Marketing Company and St. Arnold's Brewery proudly present  Information Superhighway - The Down South Edition,  A Gathering Of Houston Tech Saturday, August 15th, 2009, 7:00 PM - 12:00 at the Caroline Collective, 4820 Caroline St., Houston, TX 77004. 

Houston is full of cool Internet people. Why aren't they meeting each other? INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY is the new monthly party for Houston gathering hackers, activists, artists, designers, nonprofits, startups, academics and general geekery to hang out and connect with one another.

*No agenda, no "networking," no presentations. Just beverages, food, ideas and cool people. *Best of all the price is free, and where else are you going to get that kind of deal in this kind of economy?! *This time: come out and meet the who's who of Houston Tech, gorge on some fabulous BBQ, and bet your boots that it's going to be a good time.*Also: Check out demonstrations by a local hackspace, witness some laser graffiti, break it down to the beats of our chill DJ, get a shirt screenprinted, and enjoy the free refreshments provided by St. Arnold's Brewery
