It's time for Bicycle Joyride 2009, an annual celebration of bicycle culture, September 18-19, 2009 at Winter Street Studios 2101 Winter Street Houston, Texas 77007.

Our mission is to provide bicycle awareness for the community and its riders through an annual joyride fundraiser combined with art, film, and food that encompass bicycle culture. The opening reception begins at 6PM Friday, the 18th of September at 2101 Winter Street Studios, Houston, Texas 77007.

The following 5PM Saturday joyride through Houston is benefitting spacetaker.org, a non-profit organization that “effectively advocates the plethora of culture our city has to offer its residents and visitors.”

Both days will feature a bike repair workshop, art show, bicycle film at 8PM, and food. The event will end both nights with an after-party in Houston’s Warehouse District. We are expecting cyclists of all terrains (urban/trail/street) and art/film enthusiasts.
