THEATRE + COMEDY

The University of Houston - School of Theatre & Dance presents Henry V, by William Shakespeare. Directed by Clinton Hopper.  Running  April 9 through 11, 2010. A Free event at the University of Houston in Studio 208, in the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts.

Shakespeare's powerful history play is based on the life of King Henry V of England and focuses on events immediately before and after the Battle of Agincourt (1415) during the Hundred Years' War. The play is the final part of a tetralogy, preceded by Richard II, Henry IV, part 1 and Henry IV, part 2.

FREE ADMISSION, LIMITED SEATING.

Tickets are available at the box office window the day of the performance.

As part of our MFA in Directing training, graduate directors produce a series of projects in Studio 208, which serves as the School's laboratory space. In the fall semester, you'll see Realism plays and in the spring, two Shakespeare plays.

All work presented in the MFA Studio is free and open to the public.
