Houston Ballet’s Swan Lake + Two scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9 has officially been cancelled due to inclement weather and low temperatures. The Ballet’s management decided late Friday to cancel the performance for the safety of the performers.

Houston Ballet and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion present Swan Lake + Two, A Mixed Repertory Program, Friday, October 09, 2009, at 8:00 PM.

Houston Ballet's Swan Lake + Two is a mixed-repertory program featuring Act II of "Swan Lake" plus "Jardi Tancat" and "Falling Angels." "Swan Lake" is one of the greatest works of the ballet repertoire, and the second act of the ballet is its stunning heart. Next, enjoy "Jardi Tancat," the first work choreographed by the acclaimed Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato. The Houston Ballet will end the show with European master Jiri Kylian's "Falling Angels," showcasing eight female dancers set to a percussive score.

Pre-concert activities for Swan Lake + Two begin at 7:00 PM.

Parking:

Pre-paid, preferred parking is available in the Gold Lot parking garage. To purchase tickets for the parking garage, call Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or visit any Ticketmaster Outlet or The Pavilion Box Office.

FREE guest parking is available in lighted and patrolled lots convenient to The Pavilion. For most events, lots open 90 minutes prior to the performance.

Parking for guests with mobility impairments is available with proper state identification. There are a limited number of parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Gold Lot adjacent to the VIP entrance. Access is via Six Pines Drive.
