Bayou Bend, the American decorative arts center of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, hosts a free Family Day the third Sunday of each month from September through May. 

Sunday, February 21:   Love is in the Air.

Valentine´s Day may be over, but the spirit of romance is very much alive at Bayou Bend! Valentine´s Day performances, crafts, and activities are highlights of our February Family Day. Bring the special young people (and adults!) in your life to Bayou Bend to enjoy a unique afternoon of nature, beauty, and history.

Performances on the Diana Terrace:
Susan McDonald, 1:30 p.m. – Classical Guitar
Master Chords, 2:30 & 3:30 p.m. – Great Love Songs

Traveling Performance:
Puppet Pizzazz, 1:30 – 2:30; 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

Craft Workshops:
Mosaic Heart Mobiles (w/ teaching artist Janice Warren), 1:00 – 4:15 p.m.
Victorian Valentine Cards, 1:00 - 4:30 p.m.
