Y Llegaron los Españoles a México will be presented for the first time here in Houston at Talento Bilingüe de Houston. This satirical comedy is set in México and shows the encounter between an old Spaniard and a young Mexican nationalist. They engage in an amusing debate over whose native culture is superior.

Their banter proves to be both critical and hilarious, all while advocating the message of intercultural respect. Come and enjoy this great theater production and be one of the first Houstonians to talk about the newest production in Spanish here in Houston!

The actors Juan Alanís and Roberto Alanis are both professional actors from Monterrey, Nuevo Le León, México with much experience in theater and films. They both have featured in over 100 theater productions as well as featured in over 20 films in México. Both actors are graduates from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL). Juan placed much of his studies in the architecture field before becoming a professional Scene director and Choreographer. He has participated in films such as “Zapatos Viejos” with the infamous Gloria Trevi as well as “Siete Dias” with Jaime Camil. Roberto received his education in Mass Media Communications from both UANL and the Center of Artistic Studies of Televisa. One of his most recent film appearances can be seen in “Inspiracion” with Arath de la Torre y Bárbara Mori.

Note: This show will be presented in Spanish.
