Talento Bilingüe de Houston (TBH) announces their opening gallery show Where My People Live by native Houstonian Andrew Flores. His exhibition will be displayed from September 9th through October 23rd here at TBH. A free reception will take place September 9th from 6pm-8pm where the public will have the opportunity to meet the artist and ask questions. The exhibition can be viewed Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Flores, born and raised in Houston, TX has been mostly self taught though through his education has attended local art schools and community colleges. With many of his art pieces, viewers can find writings of his inspirations that helped him in the creation of his pieces.

He describes his painting as a way to convey and report stories of the present and past -

My hope is that as you get to know me, my work will compliment your home, and inspire you to look at life from another perspective. Many thanks to wonderful folks as yourselves, your families and friends who continue to show support in our community and in the arts.
    -Andrew Flores
