Memorial High School Theatre presents School House Rock! Live!,  an energetic, colorful, fast-paced musical with zany, loveable characters...and it just happens to be educational!

From the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning cartoon series popular in the 1970s,  School House Rock! Live! teaches history, grammar, math, science and more through clever, tuneful songs. Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved “Schoolhouse Rock” songs as “Just A Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction.”

Also, Memorial High School Theatre Department will host a Kid's Theatre Camp before the Saturday matinee performance for K-8th graders. Students, working with cast and crew members, will explore various aspects of live theatre through crafts, games, backstage tours and other activities.
