The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents Gallery Conversations: Food and the Arts of Ancient Viet Nam.  Presented by Tam Le, Owner of Le Viet Restaurant.  Saturday, October 17, at 2:30 p.m.  Meet outside of Arts of Ancient Viet Nam exhibition (lower level of the Beck Building, across from Café Express).

Join Tam Le, owner of Le Viet Restaurant, as he leads us on a tantalizing culinary tour through the exhibition Ancient Arts of Viet Nam. Discussing the cuisine of Viet Nam region by region, Mr. Le will talk about how the distinctive flavors of Vietnamese foods were influenced by centuries of trade, exchange, and colonization. A tasting will follow the tour.

At Le Viet Restaurant & Bar, 11328 A Westheimer Road, Mr. Le and his staff present traditional Vietnamese cuisine—based on his mother´s recipes—with modern flair.  Visit them online at www.le-viet.com.
