The Alley Theatre presents Fall Alley Theatre Studio Nights,  theatre education for older teens and adults. Mondays, Oct. 19 – Dec. 7, 2009,  6:30PM – 8:00PM.

SCRIPT ANALYSIS (ages 16+) Script analysis is the basis of any actor’s, director’s, or designer’s work on the stage. In this course, students will discover how to read between the lines for action, environment, and inspiration. Students will be asked to develop a final project based on their own interpretation of a play.

SHAKESPEARE BASICS (ages 16+) Ideal for actors and students beginning to explore the world and language of Shakespeare’s plays. This studio will help to demystify Shakespeare’s plots and characters with scene study and text analysis.

THEATRE FOR CORPORATE PROFESSIONALS We start with the acting basics and move quickly into actually delivering talks. You will be on your feet and presenting like a professional in no time at all! Use sophisticated techniques like voice modulation, attention focusing, and idea pyramids for creating impact and audience engagement.
