Moulin Rouge Gala

Mildred’s Umbrella Company members will light up the night at the Moulin Rouge Gala with turn-of-the-century French flair, so patrons are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of Paris and be immersed in the Joie de Vivre.

Mildred’s Umbrella is steadily getting stronger and dedicated to being an integral part of the growing Houston Arts community. One night a year, we kick up our heels to promote the future of MU in an annual fundraiser. As our audience increases, the party gets bigger and better. This year’s party will include live entertainment from local Jazz musician, Andrew Lienhard, door prizes, games, activities, a silent auction, food from Prego Restaurant, Tequila from Riazul, Lone Star Beer, Wine, mimes and dancing, and, of course, a costume contest with prizes!

The party will be held at The Alley Theatre Board Room and Balcony, 615 Texas Avenue 77002, 14th Floor, on November 7, 2009. Parking is $5 in the garage, or free on the street after 6pm. Advance tickets are $25.00 (paypal at www.mildredsumbrella.com ) or $40.00 at the door. Special themed VIP tables with fabulous goodie bags available 4 person table- $200, includes wonderful goodie bags with tickets, toys, and treats, and your own custom-themed cabaret table. 8 person table- $600- includes your own Moulin Rouge host/waiter, wonderful goodie bags with tickets, toys, and treats, and your own custom-themed cabaret table.
