On Saturday, October 31, 2009, HoustonWorks USA will celebrate 25 years of serving the Houston community with the HoustonWorks USA 25th Anniversary Gala.

This momentous occasion will feature Dan Rather as the master of ceremonies and will honor the following::

•HoustonWorks USA Executive Director Emeritus Terry Hudson
•Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia
•Chairman of the Gulf Coast Workforce Board Frank Thompson
•Corporate Leadership Award Parsons

This star-studded event will also feature celebrity guest appearances by:

The gala will recognize the hard work and contributions of our honorees and provide HoustonWorks USA supporters and friends a retrospective of the organization, plus a preview of what the future holds. We hope you join us for an evening of empowerment, education, entertainment, celebrity appearances and success stories as we honor community leaders who have demonstrated a long-standing commitment to help our organization strengthen and improve the Houston community. Proceeds from the gala will support youth and educational programs.
